ABOUT

Hello, my name is Asiyih. I have over 10 years of experience working with children. I started babysitting for family and friends at a young age and this sparked my love of working with children, which has now become my career. My child care experience is extensive.  I have worked as an au pair, a tutor, an elementary school teacher, and I have also had the opportunity to work at a wonderful daycare before I decided to start my own.

I have been blessed with being a mom to two amazing boys, a 3-year old and an 8-month old. These first years are so crucial in the development of his character, personality, and understanding. It is important for me to create a space where he, and other children, will feel safe, loved, and have lots of opportunity to explore and grow.

At Groger's Daycare, we have a play-based mode of learning. Our days are filled with many activities to occupy and inspire the curious minds of our students. Art is integrated into our daily routine through music, craft, painting, and more. We will practice many virtues such as love, compassion, kindness, patience, unity as we learn, grow, and play together.

Testimonials

Asking Asiyih to join my team back in 2019 was of one the smartest decisions I could have made. She has such a gift when it comes to interacting and engaging with the little ones. Her ability to dive into their world with such ease was wonderful to watch. The day she told me she wanted to open her own daycare was both the proudest and saddest day for me. Anyone who has the opportunity to join her daycare will be so lucky; to this day kids from my daycare still ask for her by name.

We know Asiyih from her job before opening her own daycare. She is warm and nurturing and has helped our daughter blossom into a sweet caring child. She has guided her through her first friendships and supported her development through many milestones. She has loved our daughter as her own and we feel so lucky she was able to care for her.
